As a hybrid advertising agency and production studio we move seamlessly between entertainment marketing and original film & television production. With one foot firmly planted in both worlds we are able to blend unique film & television talent with innovative marketing opportunities to create original content that is often times a blend of both worlds -- unique and narrative yet branded and product driven. Having created everything from original feature films (STARZ) and television series (HBO) to series campaigns and marketing integrations, we strive to bring the best of both worlds to everything we do.

Freeform’s March to the Polls was a social justice campaign to help get out the vote during the election of 2018. By working with actors from shows like The Fosters, Black-is, Grown-ish, The Bold Type and many other Freeform was able to bring a modern Rock-The-Vote style message to a new generation, and Cove was proud to be a part of it.

A shareable Instagram inspired Activation centered around two Halloween classics, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas. As a blended marketing event this project showcased a walking tour of the space, custom music video inspired piece, and an integrated Butterfinger sponsored recap.

It’s public art perfected. A Cove Original marketing series, Free Art Friday couples innovative forward looking brands with uniquely positive street artists to bring uplifting, positive art to the audience and community at large. Beauty shouldn’t only live in a museum, with this series, we take it to the streets.

No People. No Animals – No Problem. After working extensively on the original Funday campaign, Cove was tasked with re-energizing and expanding the visual style in a manner designed to place the Disney/Pixar animated films squarely in the middle of the random & viral way millennials consume media — the only catch was it needed to be executed without any cast.

UNSULLIED (feature)

An independent feature film written and produced by John Nodilo, Unsullied (formerly Prey) was released in 150 theaters domestically and is currently On-Demand on the premium cable channel Starz. On the back of what the Los Angeles Times called elevated dialogue, and a “thoughtful woman-in-distress-thriller“ , this small budget indie has far exceeded any expectations and goes to the core of Cove’s production ethos – never let budget limit scope & scale.

A fan driven interview promotion we hand picked fan testimonials from the multi-year run of Abc Family / Freeform’s The Fosters and sprung them on the unsuspecting actors. What happens next is a truly moving piece that captures the raw emotion of what it’s like to learn that your character has given hope to the under-represented. With stories of adoption, coming out and acceptance it’s a rare moment that we are able to blend true honest emotion with the marketing of a television series. We were blessed to introduce the final season of The Fosters with such an open and forward thinking team like Freeform. These ae their stories and we were just glad to be a part of it.
