Cove [ noun ]

An open, collaborative place to explore and create

Over the years we’ve worked closely with the Disney Studios team on various projects including the recent releases of Dr. Strange The Multiverse of Madness, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Solider.

In addition to integrated Marvel content, we have also worked on non-Marvel integrations including Disney’s Mulan, Pixar’s Turning Red, Lucas Films Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Pixar’s Raya and the Last Dragon.

From day one Cove has worked with ad-sales integrations on some of the biggest brands around including Facebook, Target, T.J.Maxx, Sherwin Williams, The Oscars, Pandora, Zillow, Butterfinger, and numerous others.

  • Brand: T.J.Maxx
  • Production Details:

This T.J.Maxx and Freeform integration is what we at Cove call a micro-series. A recurring ad-sales vertical inspired by our past reality tv productions. This :60 make-over / style show highlighted the designer labels of T.J.Maxx and was complete with reality-style confessionals and loft-inspired set.

  • Brand: Paramount Pictures
  • Production Details:

This Good Trouble and A Quiet Place Pt. II integration challenged us to imagine the series Good Trouble in the world of the movie, faithfully recreating the films production design including sandpaths, red warning lights, VFX monsters, and minimal whispered dialogue, all inspired by the film.

  • Brand: Facebook
  • Production Details:

For this Facebook Pride campaign, we found & cast three amazing artists from across the LGBTQ+ community.

Filmed on-location between LA & Chicago these artist profiles showcased rapper Aina Beri’Yon, Photographer Kelly Balch and Slam Poet Pastiche Queen – all of which we are lucky to now call friends.

Cove is a company that was formed out of the sizzle and upfront space. The foundation of our company was in creating unique content from disparate assets and weaving together a copy driven story and marketing message with wide ranging assets serving as the center piece for an entertaining overall piece.

  • Brand: Year One
  • Production Details:

In introducing Freeform to the ad-sales market at its first upfront, we were tasked with developing a concept that could showcase the significant growth from ABC Family to Freeform. What we came up with was a piece that tied Freeform’s year one to the early days of a maverick upstart named Walt Disney.

  • Brand: The Voice x Google
  • Production Details:

For this sizzle we were asked to create a pitch piece for the series The Voice based on a selection of talking points taken from the success of their year long Google ad-sponsorship. With nothing more than a few bullet points we created this engaging sizzle.

  • Brand: The Tonight Show
  • Production Details:

Another one of our NBC sizzles, this Tonight Show project forced us to think outside the box and combine a broad collection of seemingly separate Tonight Show clips and create a spot showcasing unique integrations in a campaign style package.

At Cove we’ve covered numerous events and activations from upfronts and network press events to red carpets and fan experiences – including nearly every red carpet from Marvel, Pixar, Lucas, and Disney Studios for the last 6 years.

While we are not an experiential marketing company, we have partnered with leaders in that field for unique one-off events.

  • Brand: Freeform Summit
  • Production Details:

As part of Freeform’s TCA events, we put together numerous in-event sizzles as well as this recap spot that showcased the talent of Freeform and spread it’s message of diversity, equity, and inclusion to the public.

  • Brand: Halloween House
  • Production Details:

One of a number of Halloween House integrations that we’ve done over the years, this spot features Jordan Buhat as he takes viewers through the Halloween House fan experience.

In addition to our production and sizzle work, we have also done various projects involving series talent for behind the scenes, first looks, and other one-off asset specific marketing purposes. We excel at combining separate, sometimes divergent, interviews into a cohesive narrative.

  • Brand: Shadow Hunters EPK
  • Production Details:

For this spot we used a series of interview footage shot over various Shadow Hunter BTS projects and formed a unifying narrative around the diversity messaging of the new season of the show.

  • Brand: Target Stay at Home
  • Production Details:

On this Target Covid-19 integration, we collected various self-shot footage from Freeform talent across all series and developed a campaign to remind viewers to stay safe and stay at home in the early days of the pandemic.

  • Brand: Fosters Fan Stories
  • Production Details:

In paying tribute to the groundbreaking series The Fosters, we collected fan stories from across the internet and sat the cast down to read them live for the first time. What came next was a realization of how many lives they’ve touched.

  • Brand: Emoji Movie
  • Production Details:

On this more traditional First Look / EPK spot we used a series of animated movie packages and show talent interviews to develop an exclusive first look spot for The Emoji Movie.
